Our Great Story

IES Institute is a Community Based Organization for MATC and offers various credentialed courses related to the Manufacturing Industry.

Entry level CNC machine Operations combined with Manufacturing Skills Standard Council (MSSC) Certified Production Technician (CPT) training. IES Institute also offers the MSSC CPT training by itself and individualized.

Dr. George Garland

His work experience consists of 45 years in education over 17 years in private sector. 21 years was in Administration and Management and 32 years in teaching. His experience includes:

  1. Administrator- Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE)
  2. Lecturer- MSOE
  3. Regional Manager- Polytech Engineers
  4. VP General Manger- Dikita Engineering
  5. MATC- Various positions
       – School to Work Coordinator
       – Lead Instructor GED/Basic Skills Lab
       – Mathematics Instructor College Division

IES Institute is a Nonprofit Corporation

IES Institute is a nonprofit Corporation. We train unskilled persons from disadvantaged backgrounds. They are Displaced Homemakers, Veterans, and Justice involved Adults and Youths. The training costs are fully funded for the trainees. Unfortunately it does not cover all our operating costs. We depend on generous donations for this. Please consider donating to us.
